Delete your CinéSwipe account

Deletion is permanent and immediate. It erases the account and everything attached to it.

From the app

Open the Profile tab, then Settings, section Account and privacy, and choose Delete my account. Deletion takes effect immediately.

Without the app

Write to florian@thibault.tel from the email address linked to your account, asking for it to be deleted. It is carried out within thirty days at the latest.

What is erased

• the account and its email address;
• the profile: username, biography, avatar;
• film lists created, published or saved;
• posts and repost messages;
• comments and replies;
• likes;
• follows, follow requests and blocks;
• private conversations and their messages.

The erasure cascades: nothing is kept in a form that can be linked back to the deleted account.

What is not affected

Saved films, watched films, filters and the taste profile are not stored on a server: they live only in your device local storage. Erasing them is done by uninstalling the app, or by clearing the site data from your browser.

Retention

None. Deleted data is not kept after deletion, apart from the host technical backups, whose rotation does not exceed thirty days.
